2021 Musical Line Up

An art celebration without music is simply an art show. With that in mind, La Quinta Art Celebration has put together an eclectic lineup of celebrated Southern California musicians to add the special touch of live music performances to complement the celebration experience. 


Musician, Song Writer, Producer

Performing daily from 9 am – 12 pm on the Amphitheater stage

Scott Carter is a multi-faceted musician. His primary instrument is guitar, but he also excels as a drummer and bassist along with his tenor vocal talents. Scott has a self-produced album:  The New Breed Band (featuring Scott Carter). Scott Carter & New Breed has opened shows for Hootie & the Blowfish, UB-40, Stanley Clarke, Jesse Colin Young and others. Scott’s second project: Scott Carter “Living in the Moment.” is a solo endeavor where he has recorded most of the instrument tracks and all of the vocal tracks.


Latin Euro Guitarist

Performing daily from 9 am – 4 pm at the Ketel One Oasis Lounge

With European flair, skill and execution, Gagliardi creates an atmosphere of elegance wherever he performs. Michael has recorded several albums under his own name and many with his past group Penny University, Michael has delved into many genres of music including Soundtrack, Instrumental, Indian, Country, Rock, Orchestral, Japanese, Italian, Flamenco, Jazz, and Latin. He has opened for such icons as BB King, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Aaron Neville, and Buddy Guy.


Latin, Standard & Original Jazz Duo

Friday, November 12th, 1-4 pm on the Amphitheater stage

RIDESHARE was named when these two East Coast musicians looking to rebrand their club-date duo as a serious jazz band “took a ride” to California and spotted the perfect name for a jazz group on a road sign. Their music was influenced by Herbie Mann, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Lionel Hampton, and Sergio Mendes.

Dan Seidman (piano, organ, vibes, melodica, accordion) leads this multi-instrumental duo from keyboards featuring piano, bass and Hammond organ sounds.

Audrey Seidman (soprano/alto flute, piano) starts off on flute, and moves seamlessly to keyboards when Dan takes a ride on the vibes.


A Desert Music Collective

Saturday, November 13th, 1-4 pm on the Amphitheater stage

The Smooth Brothers featuring John Carey on Guitar and Theo Coakley are celebrating 20 years of performing together with the last 15 years in the Coachella Valley. They play a multiple range of music, from Motown to Classic rock, Jazz, Blues, Standards, 40, 50. 60. 70. 80.90. and as current as the music of today.


Southern California’s Premiere Groove Band

Sunday, November 14th, 1-4 pm on the Amphitheater stage

The Art of Sax, led by Will Donato and Eddie Reddick – each respected recording artists in their own right. Heavy on saxophone, bass, and smooth vocals, the band performs music from all genres including pop, Motown, soul, rhythm and blues, hip-hop, funk and contemporary jazz.

Will Donato is a dynamic showman, saxophonoist, composer, and producer with multiple solo albums, several international tours, and a bounty of festival dates to his credit. Will's radio single Infinite Soul, released in January 2019 reached the coveted #1 spot on the Billboard Smooth Jazz airplay chart.

Eddie Reddick is an incredibly skilled bass guitarist player, vocalist, song writer and producer with five solo albums including his latest, Bass Matters. He has been working the L.A. area music scent for over 30 years and has recorded and performed with such notable artists as Chaka Khan, Billy Cobham, Roy Ayers, Bill Withers, and Wayne Henderson of The Jazz Crusaders.
