An art celebration without music is simply an art show. With that in mind, La Quinta Art Celebration has put together an eclectic lineup of celebrated Southern California musicians to add the special touch of live music performances to complement the celebration experience.

Scott Carter

Musician, Song Writer, Producer

Performing daily from 10 am to 1 pm on the Amphitheater stage

Scott Carter is a multi-faceted musician. His primary instrument is guitar, but he also excels as a drummer and bassist along with his tenor vocal talents. Scott has a self-produced album: The New Breed Band (featuring Scott Carter). Scott Carter has opened shows for Hootie & the Blowfish, UB-40 and Stanley Clarke and others.

Alex Santana

Guitarist – Flamenco, Jazz & Blues

Performing Daily in the Celebration Bistro from 11 am to 3:30 pm

In a valley overflowing with musical talent, there are always hidden gems to be discovered. On of the most underrated and obscure of such locals is Alex Santana. This young Coachella Valley native is a multi-instrumental phenom whose shills on the guitar are as diverse as they are brilliant.

The Smooth Brothers

Sunday, March 3rd, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm on the Amphitheater stage

Led by John Carey (guitar & vocal) and Theo Coakley (keyboard & vocal), The Smooth Brothers met in 1989 and have been playing together for over 25 years. In 2018 they won the CV Music Award for Best Adult Contemporary by dazzling audiences throughout the Coachella Valley with heart pumping Latin music, soulful blues, reggae and memories from the Bahamas – where Theo was born and raised.

Latin Euro Guitarist

Performing Daily at the Oasis Lounge from 10 am to 4:30 pm

With European flair, skill and execution, Gagliardi creates an atmosphere of elegance when he performs. Michael has delved into many genres of music and has opened for such icons as BB King and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

The Art Of Sax

Southern California’s Premiere Groove Band

Friday, March 1st, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm on the Amphitheater stage

The Art of Sax, led by Will Donato and Eddie Reddick with vocalist Pebble Glass – are all respected recording artists in their own right. Heavy on saxophone, bass, and smooth vocals, the band performs music from all genres including pop, soul, rhythm and blues, hip-hop, and contemporary jazz.

Don’t miss one of the most dynamic groups in Southern California!! Shaken Not Stirred is the Coachella Valley’s premier entertainment group for over 20 years. Founder, Abie Perkins will take you on a musical journey and covers an astonishing range of music.
