I am a 35 year old artist out of Dallas. Art impacted my life tremendously when I first moved to California. I was thrown into it working and hanging out at Venice Beach. Moving to Dallas allowed me more space to create larger pieces and time. It has allowed me to create new friendships and made me open my mind to new ideas. Records were something that I have always enjoyed. I have my own collection and always found records that were bad but just kept them. Music helps me focus, and I had so many records that were messed up that I needed to do something that would show them off since they couldn't be played. I thought carving them would be cool because it would preserve the look of a record while giving it a new life.
