My work is grounded in an architectural way of thinking—where proportion, material, and light shape the experience of a space. With a background in environmental design and architectural history, I create sculptural wood wall pieces that explore contrast through texture, sheen, and depth.
I’m drawn to the dialogue between smooth and tactile surfaces, matte and gloss finishes, and the way layered materials interact with changing light throughout the day. Each piece is carefully constructed and hand-finished, allowing subtle variation to emerge within a structured framework. My motivation is to create work that feels refined yet inviting—bringing a quiet, modern architectural presence into the spaces people live with and return to every day.
The work I’ll be exhibiting explores contrast through material, texture, and light. Drawing from my architectural background, each piece is composed as a study in proportion and depth—balancing precise geometry with layered surfaces and varied sheens.
I’m inspired by the way light moves across materials and how subtle shifts in finish can change the experience of a piece throughout the day. Using wood as both structure and surface, I combine smooth and tactile elements to create work that feels quiet yet dimensional. These pieces are meant to engage over time, revealing new relationships between form, shadow, and material as viewers move through the space.
