I have always been creating something. From summer camp through college, my career as a model maker for special effects or VP in advertising, designing has been at the core of everything I have done. I majored in art and art history at the University of Colorado, was classically trained at Cecelia Bauer’s studio in NYC where I alloyed gold, practiced granulation, pulled wire and forged metals applying techniques used by the ancient Greeks. At Parson’s, I learned wax carving and how to make molds to duplicate her designs.

My jewelry has been featured in many top fashion magazines and is now worn by celebrities including Halle Berry, Jennifer Connelly, Faith Hill, Heidi Klum, Diane Sawyer, Marisa Tomei, Diane Von Furstenberg, Sharon Stone and Vanessa Williams. She has also been a featured artist in museum exhibitions and won numerous national awards.

Inspired by a trip to Spain, I was intrigued by the intricate tile work. I photographed them for their symmetry and non-figurative elements and later fabricated my own version of these classic Moorish designs in sterling silver and 18k yellow gold.

Another inspiration was French Petites Fours, those sweet, little cakes decorated with swirls of frosting. I have my own version in sterling silver, gemstones and pearls.

Yet another collection, is Baroque architecture. In the 4th C, the rage was all things botanical. I have carved the leaves, berries and pine cones and thru the lost wax process I have created unique pieces in sterling with gemstone accents.
