As a photographer I have always strived to create unbridled thought provoking photorealism images, as well as automotive images both documentary and experimental with bold texture, vivid color, and sense of depth. I describe them as a little raw and with an attitude.

Starting at a young age with film, and working in my father’s dark room, I learned how to manipulate the outcome of my images. Today working with digital and post-processing in a computer, life is not much different.

I believe there is something magical about storytelling with a camera and producing an image that is truly unique that no other photographer can produce. I infuse each completed image with multiple captures which gives them personality and spirit to be enjoyed. My photos will immerse you in their soul.

The aim, is to draw the viewer to investigate the details and draw them in with an emotional connection in my composite compositions. For me the images celebrate memories, rusted or old, shiny or new.

I have presented my award winning work in a variety of shows, including the Palm Springs Art Museum, Laguna Beach Festival of Arts, Carmel art galleries, Laguna Art-A-Fair, The Museum of Art Artist Guild and the San Diego Art Institute in Balboa Park. My work has appeared in the automotive section of “The New York Times”, “Road and Track Magazine”, and “Nine over Nine” the book about the Monterey Car Week. I am a current member of the San Diego Museum of Art Artist Guild, as well as the Motor Press Guild.
