I grew up at Muir Beach just North of the Golden Gate and in the Napa Valley where impressions of Northern California and my continued passion for riding are the foundation of my paintings. In Winter my time is spent at art shows in the Cochella Valley and Arizona drawing inspiration from the Desert’s beautiful light and mountains. I’ve recently opened a studio in La Quinta. In Summer and Fall I show in the San Francisco Bay Area and Washington and enjoy painting out of my Petaluma studio. For 22 years I attended the High Point Furniture Market in North Carolina and was surrounded by innovative design and the creativity of the home furnishing industry’s leading interior designers, trend setters and entrepreneurs.

Painting is a joyful experience and I want each piece to show expression, balance, light and depth.

 

I studied fine art at CCSF and graphic design at Platt College in San Francisco and became a furniture designer for a family furniture business. My furniture designs have been featured on HGTV and Extreme Makeover and my showroom has been shopped by Sherwin Williams to determine current color forecasts.
