Loren Yagoda’s creative path is shaped by a life immersed in art, design, and architecture. Originally from Birmingham, Michigan, and then growing up in Tucson, she was raised in a family of collectors, designers, and architects, developing an early appreciation for the visual world and its emotional impact. Now based in Phoenix near her children, her work is exhibited throughout Arizona and in galleries across the country.
She is a Premier Artist with Restoration Hardware, where her work reaches an international audience. At forty, Loren returned to college to earn her BFA from the Memphis College of Art — a turning point that deepened her artistic voice and expanded her vision.
Loren’s acrylic paintings are influenced by her love of architecture and nature. At times her paintings are crisp like a floor plan, revealing the outer edges; other times, they are soft — representing the interior soul and spirit of the space. She has taken her bold black brush strokes and softened them into pale off-white marks set into a linen landscape. Ranging in scale from intimate to expansive, each work is created to reflect your environment and personal aesthetic.
Yagoda’s work is organized into thoughtful series, each individual in its inspirations. Her website shares detailed explanations along with a gallery showcasing her paintings in their final homes.
Drawing on her decades as an interior designer, Loren creates with an intuitive sense of space and feeling. Her art is known for the way it resonates with its surroundings, reflecting both environment and emotion.
At the core of her work is a compelling duality: art as both expressive and meditative. One sparks energy and curiosity; the other invites stillness and clarity. Loren’s compositions live in the space between, offering viewers a layered experience that feels at once personal and expansive.

Loren recognizes that everyone’s environment is enriched by two opposing artistic expressions often co-existing in the same space. This first one is “Expressive” to stimulate your senses and activate creative expression. The second is “Meditative” to help you unwind and clear the mind. Her compositions invite the viewer into her world, not un-like their own, which integrates these two styles and aspects of one’s self.
Small to large pieces ranging from bold to gentle and contemplative, she helps curate your space to reflect you and your unique environment. She has an extensive collection of completed paintings to choose from, but if you want to customize your art we can visit your home, office or commercial space to adapt to your unique style and palette. We do this in person or over video depending on the location.
