New to Spring 2025!
I have been a full time artist for 24 years and did art part time most of my life befor that. I have always wanted to be and have known I would be a visual artist Since I was being yelled at in elementary school for constantly doodling and drawing my classmates. It's all I ever wanted to do. I have two art degree's from North Carolina school of the Arts and Atlanta College of Art. I have shown my work all over the United States and a few times in Spain. I love selling at juryed art festivals because They are usually high quality shows that bring many thousands of art lovers out to meet and buy straight from the artists. It's nice to meet and interact with the people that will take home the works we pour our artistic souls into. Art brings beauty, joy, thought, inversion, contemplation and wonder to the world and I love being part of that.
I have been working on some new extra large colorful abstracts with trees and birds in the foreground. They have lots of movement throughout the patterned layered backgrounds and highlight the serenity and beauty of the birds that we see every day. My backgrounds are meant to be a visual representation of music and wind colliding in colors, patterns and movement. To capture the beauty we see and good energy we feel from nature in a slightly different way than most nature paintings show. I believe that art that makes one feel good and harmonious improves our enery both at home and in our lives. Which in a world that is difficult and harsh at times is essential.
