A graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, Sue's passion for art flourished while living in a one-room cabin in the stunning Alaskan boreal forest. This close bond with nature inspires her work, making it a central theme in her artistic journey.

Now a full-time artist, Sue runs a home-based art studio in Phoenix, Arizona, and Poulsbo, Washington. She skillfully balances her creative pursuits seasonally between both locations, along with her husband and their dog, embodying the harmony of art and everyday life.
