At a recent art event, I found myself in a discussion about the importance of the contemporary art world. Asking ourselves the questions, Why art? What is it about art?

 

Reflecting now on that conversation, we drew the conclusion that contemporary artists not only inspire us today, they also capture today’s history through mediums that transcend what words alone cannot express. The visions of our artists help to capture the beautiful, multi-faceted and ever evolving world around us. They move us to self-reflect, pause to appreciate and question the world.

 

Our La Quinta Artists are the voices of tomorrow, the ones poised to inspire the next generation. Their art engages our inner soul and inspires us to celebrate the beauty around us that we are so fortunate to enjoy.

During the event, we will showcase the works of 165 contemporary artists — from throughout the world, selected from thousands of worthy candidates — who are here to stimulate the imagination in all of us.

At Scope Events, we strive to make your experience outstanding by showcasing some of the world’s finest art and craft complemented with live music, top shelf beverages, gourmet food and, of course, a truly stunning venue. 

As we open La Quinta Art Celebration’s Encore 2024, I recognize the talent of each of our artists, thank our many dedicated volunteers, acknowledge the hard work of my team and the appreciate the City of La Quinta, all working together to keep this event the #1 fine art celebration in the country.
