I've been creating art professionally now for over a decade, but my focus has always been on wildlife, particularly the local flora and fauna of the places I have lived. I just recently moved to rural Arizona, but have previously called Michigan, Minnesota, and Ohio home. Wherever I've lived, however, connecting with nature has been important to me. And luckily, I've always been able to find that connection, be it a local park, nearby nature preserves, or just my own backyard. So my studio name, BYOB Artwork, actually stands for "backyard and outdoors beauty", reflecting my belief that one can find the beauty of nature anywhere. Not what most people expect, but you're still welcome to enjoy your favorite beverage while viewing my artwork!
